Business Systems Support Specialist

The Business Systems Support Specialist provides comprehensive support and is the subject matter expert for IT business applications, serving as the primary liaison between end-users and IT to ensure the applications meet the needs of the business, and users can perform their roles efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides comprehensive technical and end-user support including resolution of more complex issues for Microsoft Business Central (BC), Customer Engagement (CE), and other third-party cloud applications (40%)
- Executes regression, integration, and performance testing (20%)
- Monitors system performance and manages EDI platforms, identifies areas for improvement, and resolves data and configuration issues (20%)
- Manages and prioritizes defects and enhancement requests (10%)
- Research and continuing education (10%)
Required Skills and Experience:
- BA or BS in information technology, computer science or related field; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
- 3+ years experience supporting ERP and CRM systems; Microsoft Business Central (BC) and Customer Engagement (CE) certification and/or experience preferred
- Strong understanding of cloud-based application environments
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, and other reporting tools a plus
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset with the ability to relate and communicate with all levels within an organization as well as external vendors, customers, and partners
- Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to quickly switch gears in a rapidly changing and highly variable business environment
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits:
The target hiring range for this position is: $70,000 - $90,000 per year. Compensation is based on a variety of relevant factors, including prior work experience, skills, professional qualifications, and internal pay equity.
